" Bear Strings", from Long Lake, NY,  performing live, during the 4th Annual Civil War Enrichment Days weekend. The five person band consists of: John & Jackie Mallery, Shelia & Dave Addison, & Karen Butters. The band plays a wide variety of instruments, ie; fiddle, mandolin, guitar, hammered dulcimer, concertina & string bass. The band also boasts a caller for "old time period", square and mixer dances, in various formations. " Bear Strings", has performed previously for civil war re-enactments in Tupper Lake & Long Lake. The band will perform throughout the scheduled educational day, on Friday the 12th, and will continue throughout the day and evening, on Saturday the 13th. On Sunday the 14st, the band will perform "old time gospel music", for the morning religious services.
