Dear Re-enactor, It's my privilege to to invite you and your unit to Tupper Lake, New York for the 4th Annual Civil War Enrichment Days. The event will be again at the L.P. Quinn Elementary School on September 12th, 13th, & 14th, 2008. On September 12th, an educational day has been organized for the area schools. If at all possible, I would encourage you to attend to educate our young minds and quite possible our future re-enactors. A complete schedule of events is at present being compiled that will include skirmishes, a tactical, a cotillion (dance) with refreshments and ad lib skits . Supplies will will include items such as; on site water, wood, meats (chicken and ham slices), milk, juices, coffee, eggs and donated baked goods. Restroom facilities will be provided on site.. I hope you will give great consideration in attending this event. Please respond to this invitation ASAP, or before August 1st, 2008. This will insure proper organization of this event.
