The author is a published poet and freelance writer who divides her time between Little Wolf Pond in the Adirondacks  and Syracuse, NY. Themes in her poetry tend to concern loss, redemption, and the connectedness of the present and the past. In Nature she is constantly surprised by images and metaphors that inform and give shape to her poetry.

She is currently working on a book set in the streets of Istanbul, about her search for and reunion with a long lost Turkish friend.
